I grew up going to church but felt it was a bit pointless until, as a teenager, I realised that Jesus knew all of the worst things about me, but still loved me enough to die for me. That persuaded me that going to church was something that I did want to do for myself when I went to university in London.
After university I then trained as a chartered accountant for four years, before joining my church as an apprentice and training with the Church of England.
I am married to Beckie and we have three boys, the eldest at school and the younger two keen to join him as soon as they can. In our free time we love going to the beach, and finding the best coffees and pastries available.
